SMITTEN

He and I have something beautiful but so dysfunctional.

Rennovation

Ever since Robby and I heard that our roommates our moving out, we’ve been planning some much needed house rennovations.  We’ve discussed how we want one of the bedrooms to look, what we want to do with the kitchen, appliances, and the potential of getting a new dining room table.  One that actually fits the size of the dining room. We’ve considered many possibilities ranging from an amish dining table to something simple.  So far we haven’t made any concrete decisions but I’m excited to see what we come up with!

Learning the Guitar

A few years ago I tried to teach myself how to learn the guitar using tutorials and a guitar chord chart.  Unfortunately it never really worked out and my fingers just never got accostumed to playing the guitar so I ended up having a guitar that never gets played.  Maybe one day I will seek out a professional to teach me how to play but until then, I’ll just have to listen to other guitars.

I Wish I Had Known

When i was younger, I had no idea about insurance or really how anything worked.  I was to put it bluntly, quite naive so when I turned 18, I didn’t realize that I had no insurance and didn’t really have a way to pay for medical help.  Because of this I ended up racking up a debt from a hospital bill and to this day I wish I had educated myself better.  I vow that if I have children I will give them the ins and outs of how the world works so they can be better prepared as adults. I wish my parents had done that for me.

GPS is All the Rage

Ever since GPSes hit the market, they are all the range.  You have your choice of tom tom gps systems or some non-namebrand system that would probably cost a little less.  The one thing I love about Tom Tom is the ability to download voices for your unit.  They have anything from a British accent to Mr. T— it’s pretty dang cool!

A New Projector?

When I first met Robby I was impressed by the projector that he owned.  I thought it was pretty neat and creative for Robby to use a projector as a monitor and a TV.  We’ve had that projector for awhile now and are considering upgrading to a samsung projector but we’re not sure if that’s wise.  Has anyone every had a samsung projector?  Thoughts?

Sunglasses It Is!

Last Christmas I was trying to replace my wallet because it’s pretty beaten and worn down.  Unfortunately the Chanel wallet I wanted was not available and I couldn’t find it anywhere else.  Instead to appease Robby I just settled for some gucci sunglasses.  Hopefully, I’ll be able to find the wallet that I want but we’ll see.

Wonder where that came from?

Sometimes I get to thinking about where certain ideas come from.  Like for instance nursing uniforms and how they have changed so drastically from what they once were.  Marcus nursing uniforms seem to be the standard uniforms found in most medical institutions but in the old days it was different.  I wonder why the change?  Anyone know?

What’s the deal with long eyelashes?

I have always been told that I have long eyelashes and people are jealous about the length— which I don’t understand because they’re just eyelashes, lol.  Apparently people try eyelash growth products to see if that helps.  Personally I don’t understand why long eyelashes = beauty.  Anyone else?

Glad I Don’t Have to Worry

Years ago, I used to be one of those girls who was OVERLY concerned about what to get my boyfriend for the holidays.  I suppose it’s some time of ritual when you’re in a long term relationship to stress about the perfect gift to give.  From jewelry to monogrammed boyfriend gifts, it’s something that most girls have to experience.  All I have to say is that I’m so glad that I don’t have to worry about that anymore!  PHEW!
